MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A good Samaritan jumped into action to save a mom and her three children after a crash in Florida last week. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office shared video of a deputy arriving at the scene of the crash on Sunday, Feb. 8, running toward cries for help.

Carroll Township Police are seeking a second Good Samaritan who intervened and helped an officer during a physical altercation near a Rutter's store on Feb. 13.

A good Samaritan helped in efforts to rescue a woman and three children from a vehicle that overturned in a Martin County canal. The driver, who may have had a seizure, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Police said two bystanders helped de-escalate the situation after an officer became involved in a physical altercation with an individual outside a Rutter’s. The department is trying to identify the second person so it can express its gratitude.
